Ruth Hall, age 77 of Hamilton passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 10:54 PM. She was born in Irvine, Kentucky on July 9, 1932 the daughter of Glen and Chaney (Kirby) Riddell. Ruth was a member of Four Square Pentecostal Church. In May, 1949 in Irvine, Kentucky she married Bergon Hall, and he preceded her in death in 1995.

She is survived by three children, James (Donna) Hall, Sheila (Jerry) Chaney, both of Hamilton, and Randy Hall of Fairfield; two grandchildren, Chris (Jody) Hall of Hamilton and Brian (April) Chaney of Fairfield; two great-grandchildren, Brittany Hall and Emma Hall; a brother, Larry (Judy) Riddell; three sisters, Gerry (Roger) Clowers, Violet (Billy) Dawes, and Marcy (James) Grace; a sister-in-law, Ruby Riddell, all of Irvine, Kentucky;  and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, William, Owen, Fred, and Kimble Riddell.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Harold Hale and Rev. Jerry Rose  officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
